Headed up by Simon Reed, Sheridan Inventory Services was established (as Sheridan Landlord Services) in 2010 and became a full time business in 2011, following a planned career change from a senior management role in the logistics industry.

The inspiration for the business was that, as a property landlord, Simon had noticed great inconsistencies between the inventories being provided for different properties in different areas. The only common factor was a lack of detail! There was clearly a place in the market for a more comprehensive, detailed and professional offering.

The business has grown to encompass a small team, all sharing a similar outlook, with many years of experience as landlords, property restorers and investors. This experience gives us a great depth of understanding of the property market and also of what a useful inventory should be.
